Suzie Adamson (General Manager) has responsibility for developing the Board’s vision and oversees the day to day operations of the Hospice services at our base Te Kowhai. Suzie also has responsibility for all fundraising operations including retail. Suzie is on a number of regional palliative Governance and Management groups and always welcomes feedback and ideas to improve our Hospice services and delivery. Rosemary Hill (Acting Retail Manager) has responsibility for the day to day operations of the Hospice Shop at 53 Queen Street and our Saturday Garage Sale at our base Te Kowhai at 59 Renall Street Materton. Yvonne manages the shop Collections Driver and shop volunteers and always welcomes inquiries from people interested in helping as a retail volunteer. Kirsten Johnston (Programmes Coordinator) coordinates our suite of free programmes such as Creative Hands, Out and About, Living Around Grief and the Caregivers Programme. She also administers Trade Me listings on behalf of the Hospice Shop. Emma Batt (Fundraising Coordinator) coordinates Hospice’s existing fundraising events and works with the General Manager to develop new revenue streams to support our free programmes and services.
